sushi vs sushi

i was an all time ON japanese food kaki.
especially sashimi and sushi.
when i was young, (now also young la) i always head to our local famous sushi chain store - sushi king & genki sushi.
but i found them no longer serve good food nowadays.
so i paid some hardwork (and $) to research for fresh and affordable sushi recently.
this is what i found which is very HOT in the town and i'm really satisfy with it.

the first one, with sushi king's price but a lot fresher....

sushi zanmai!
located at 2nd floor one utama new wing, in front of parkson.
i'm not good in describing food, but hmmm fresh and delicious overall.

i feel a little bit hungry while writing this.
so torturing.

the second one, a little bit expensive compare to sushi zanmai, but still opening branch by branch in all the famous shopping center....

yo sushi!
they have less choice compare to sushi zanmai, but you still enjoy if you don't have any budget concern.

very sweet tobiko.
they serve everything, inclusive of beancurds, rice and udon in colored bowl as price tag.
so that you know you bring enough $ while eating the udon.
i also tried sushi groove at one utama during their soft launch, food was OK but don't know why it didn't attract me to going back. so i'm not introduce them now.

finally a japanese fine dining restaurant....

gonbei at starhill! located just opposite the very famous jogoya.
walao this one is sibeh high class.
sibeh fresh and sibeh expensive.
prepare like $200 for a set dinner for couple.
i only went there once, wallet vomitted blood but i never regret entering this restaurant.
totally worth the money.

deco also high class you know!
got chrysanthemum some more.
hot towel for you to clean your mouth and hand.

some of you may like japanese food as well. I used to visit those hanky panky buffet style japanese food like saisaki and shogun (yeah i know they are same boss). i no longer visit them nowadays cos the sashimi there keep dissapoint me. i rather pay the same amount for less variety but higher enjoyment for my tougue.
beh tahan d, i need some bread now. bb.
